Marketing Specialist
We are looking for a Marketing Specialist to manage digital marketing execution, website updates and newsletters. You will work as part of a dynamic team in Espoo or Helsinki.
Halo Igloos is a rapidly growing premium resort located in Rovaniemi, offering guests a unique accommodation experience in the heart of Laplands nature. Glass-roofed igloos with a private sauna and outdoor jacuzzi combine modern design with the beauty of the Arctic landscape. Our guests travel from around the world to experience Laplands nature, the Northern Lights and high-quality hospitality.
As we continue to grow quickly, we are building a strong commercial team and are now looking for a Marketing Specialist who wants to play a key role in developing an internationally growing travel brand.
Our resort is located in Rovaniemi, but this position will be based in Espoo or Helsinki. The future office location will be decided together with the team. The CEO and a small commercial team will work in Helsinki, while the operational activities of the resort take place in Rovaniemi.
Your role
You will be responsible for the practical implementation of Halo Igloos digital marketing and content together with the rest of the team.
Your responsibilities include for example:
updating and developing the website
planning and executing newsletters (D2C and B2B)
executing digital marketing campaigns
maintaining and developing the visual brand identity
producing marketing materials
You will work closely with the rest of the marketing team. The Social Media Manager works on-site in Rovaniemi, and the Head of E-commerce works in Helsinki, with whom you will build the international visibility of Halo Igloos.
We are looking for someone who
is a very strong hands-on digital marketing professional
can update and develop websites (no coding required)
has experience with newsletters and email marketing
has a strong visual eye and understands branding
speaks and writes fluent English
works independently and proactively develops ideas
has experience in either travel marketing or consumer products/services marketing
In addition, we expect a degree in business/marketing or equivalent practical experience in marketing.
